We, at Adamick Architecture, had the pleasure of working alongside veterinary brothers, Dr. David and Dr. Brendan Batt to design their new Batt Veterinary Services home. The structure, originally a pharmacy in the 1950’s and later an unpermitted church, had some challenges to overcome that included severe termite damage and flooding. We were able to mitigate those challenges by replacing the framing and elevating the floors with lightweight concrete. Also, a circulation pattern design was developed in the structure for more efficiency and flow when seeing patients. The contractor on record is Perrier Esquerre Contractors, LLC.
