About

Alex

Alex Barthel is one of our project managers at Adamick Architecture. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, in the Fall of 2013. Milwaukee’s array of historical building styles initially piqued Alex’s interest in historic preservation and sustainable practices. After two years of work experience in Milwaukee, Alex decided to pursue a higher education at Tulane with the intent of building on his passion for historical architecture and placemaking. In 2017, Alex obtained his Masters of Architecture and Masters of Preservation Studies degrees at Tulane University. After graduating from Tulane, Alex returned to Wisconsin for a brief time to explore the engineering aspects of architecture. Feeling unfulfilled in his desire to contribute the field of preservation and architecture, Alex returned to New Orleans to work on projects that fused these two interests. Alex's hobbies range from home carpentry projects to amateur beer brewing, Dungeons and Dragons, and long walks on the levee with his dog, Cypress.

We are looking for an Architectural Designer to join the team!
