2025 New Build of the Year Featured in New Orleans Homes Magazine

|

We’re thrilled to share that one of our projects in the Irish Channel has been recognized as “New Build of the Year” by New Orleans Homes Magazine, and featured on the cover.

This marks our second feature in the magazine this year, both highlighting new construction. Earlier, our work was showcased for a bold, modern design. This most recent project celebrates the other side of New Orleans architecture: a home rooted in the traditional vernacular of the Irish Channel, designed to blend seamlessly with the neighborhood’s historic character.

The homeowners said it best:

Most visitors are surprised when we tell them it’s new construction unless they happened to access Google Street View in getting to our house because it still has an image of an empty lot.

For us, that’s the highest compliment. Designing in a historic neighborhood like the Irish Channel means more than just respecting scale and style — it’s about creating a home that feels as though it has always belonged, while still supporting the way people live today.

This recognition is exciting, but more than anything, it reflects our design philosophy: creating homes that are buildable, livable, and cohesive. From contemporary new builds to traditional New Orleans vernacular, we bring the same focus to every project: balancing architecture and interiors to deliver spaces that work as beautifully as they look.

We’re grateful to New Orleans Homes Magazine for the feature, to the homeowners for trusting us with their vision, and to our collaborators who helped bring the design to life.
