Marigny Single-Family Renovation and Addition

Adamick Architecture was the architect of record for this breathtaking renovation of a historic home in the Marigny neighborhood. The residence was featured in the volume about Creole Faubourgs in the series “New Orleans Architecture,” because of its Moorish architectural influences. This renovation facilitates a union of the structure’s classical exterior with a contemporary floorplan and finishes. Features include custom millwork by Inhab, second floor loft with custom steel guardrails, enclosed fireplace with custom finish by Diane Killeen, exposed brick bedroom walls, custom metal stair rail, and a glass stacking sliding door in the rear that opens to a private courtyard. Inhab was the contractor of record and Adamick Architecture worked with Brooke Cranford Design to collaborate on interior selections and finishes.
