Adamick Architecture designed this two-story single-family residence to fit right in its traditional uptown neighborhood. Constructed by Pentek Homes on a corner lot with mature tree canopies, this 1,760 square foot home has a historically-inspired facade featuring double-hung windows, hip roofs, capboard, and columned front and back porches. The first floor has an open-plan with living, dining, and kitchen areas that open out to both porches. Three bedrooms, two full baths, and a laundry room occupy the second floor. The master bedroom and bath feature his and her closets, dual vanities, large shower, and soaking tub. This project is a new construction single family residence finished in 2014. The exterior is craftsman inspired to match the surrounding Mid City neighborhood. The building features a large open living space that overlooks the backyard. This is a three bedroom, three bathroom house, with a master bedroom and second bedroom on the second floor and a guest bedroom and bathroom in the front of the house on the first floor. We used beautiful reclaimed pine flooring throughout and all doors are made of solid pine. All millwork and casework, including the doors and flooring were milled in New Orleans. The master suite features a private balcony, dual closets and gorgeous en suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower. There is gated off street parking for one car and a huge backyard. The finished are really beautiful throughout the house and immaculate attention was spent on every detail. The photos show, in order, the exterior of the house, the large living area and kitchen, the guest bedroom and bath on the first floor, and the master suite at the front of the second floor of the house and the second bedroom and bathroom at the rear of the second floor of the house.
This newly constructed 1,770 square foot single family residence takes after a beloved historic style of New Orleans home, the Creole cottage. Tucked under its traditionally steep roof, this new home combines spaciousness and charm with three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths along with living room, den, and playroom. Gracious traditional detailing such as a wide columned front porch meet contemporary finishes and touches in an interior outfitted for present-day living. Built for Bertel Construction, this new home includes amenities such as a laundry room, master walk-in closet, and central air conditioning. This is a new construction of a single family residence in Central City on a corner lot. The building is designed as a centerhall syle, but modified with a modern program. The front of the building has a formal living room and study. On one side of the building is two bedrooms that share a jack and jill bath and on the other side of the building is the master suite. The centerhall opens into a large open dining living area with a poweder room and pantry. The back of the house has a covered porch that allows access to the kitchen area from a gated off street parking space.
This project is a new 1,500 square foot single family home finished in 2015. Emulating the exterior form of a traditional camelback, the interior balances a spacious, open plan for living and dining with privacy for three bedrooms and modern amenities. Behind the living, dining, kitchen and front porch for entertaining on the first floor is a private, spacious master suite complete with walk-in closet and well-equipped master bath. The camelback upper floor contains two additional bedrooms and a bath. This single family residence was approved by the Historic District Landmarks Commission for construction in a historic district.
This cottage located in central city is typical of many new constructions where parking is required on interior lots. In this design, we have placed the master suite at the front of the house, giving it access to the front porch. The house is actually entered at the end of the driveway. This entrance turns left on one of two bedrooms that share a jack and jill bath, and continues into a large open living/kitchen space. A covered porch off of this open living concept opens into a large backyard.
